Electrochemical and Kinetic Behavior of MnOx/C - ß PbO2 Electrode

MnOx/C - ß PbO2 electrode was obtained by admixture of ß PbO2 to MnOx/C. Slow scan voltammetry shows a double reduction peak which is discussed. GITT curves is also used and the value of the proton diffusion coefficient DH+ is determined. All studies are made in 2N KOH.

Polymer aprotic elektrolytes containing polyisobutyleneand polyethylene oxide and sodium or lithium salts wereprepared. Their conduction is of the order 10-4 S.cm-1at r.t. and both chemical and thermal stabilitysufficient.

The conductivity is an important characteristic of the electrolyte and it has to be the highest possible because it is of the prime importance for the Li-batteries improvement life. New electrolytes based on dimethylformamide and gamma-butyrolactone were studied.
