Nursing care of patients with paranoid schizophrenia

The aim of my dissertation case study of nursing care for patients diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia. I chose 26 years old patient M. S. admitted to the psychiatric clinic closed ward of a relapse of disease after discontinuation of medication. The clinical definitions of disease often start, and further describes the history, etiology and genesis of how the disease is diagnosed, what are the forms and symptoms of schizophrenia. I describe the course of illness, treatment and complications. Clinical section concludes with basic information about patient, his medical history, disease and reports of diagnostic and therapeutic measures. Nursing part is processed using the method of the nursing process, which consists of five phases. Nursing history, I have established on the day the patients in the ward with a functioning model of health by Marjory Gordon. Information obtained from the patient, his family, medical personnel and his own observations, I also noted in the form of 3 Charles University in Prague (Annex 1). On the basis of information obtained at 8 am day of hospitalization, established a short-term management plan, which addresses current needs and problems of the patient.
