Czech language teaching to the slavic people (focusing on the South Slavonic area)

The thesis deals with the teaching of Czech language for foreigners. It focuses on issues of teaching typologically close language, which is Czech for speakers of Slavic languages (specifically Bosnian / Croatian / Serbian). In the theoretical part the thesis defines and classifies positive and negative language transfers. It compares the typological differences in Bosnian / Croatian / Serbian and Czech. The thesis also deals with phenomena that are difficult for students of Czech language. It focuses on issues of interference errors and interlanguage interference, which is based on research conducted on the students of Czech studies at the Zagreb Faculty. The teaching of Czech in Croatia is described. The thesis presents chosen textbooks and describes some of the major methods of teaching foreign languages. It briefly introduces the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
