After World War II settlementing border with Slovak from Romanian Banat (by south Bohemia region)

Annotation: The present study tries to express situation in the south Bohemia border after World War II, which imagines too problematic area from point of view settlementing. First chapters are devoted problems of terms border and Sudety. In the next part there is describing problematic ethnic transformations in this region between 1945-1947. It is write on the whole of south Bohemia border. For this part of diploma work there is used contemporary press, from Státní okresní archív České Budějovice and studies from Jihočeský sborník historický. For the further acquaintment with region, where it was engaged with Romanian Slovaks, there is one chapter about physiography and socio - geography characters region in the Novohradské hory. There is avaluated intensity of single periods of reemigrations and gradual integration in this cape of south Bohemia. It is write by the archival material from Státní okresní archív České Budějovice and Český Krumlov. One chapter is about history of Slovak colonization in Romania and there are too described their live and the most important cutoms and habits by etnographical materials. In the very last chapter there are real stories about reemigration. It is written by interviews with several witnesses. The confrontation with the literature and preceding chapters creates the mainly interpretation of this work diploma. In the suplement there are several photography of the countryside and archival material.
The lifestyle of burghers in the medieval town of České Budějovice. An analysis of archaeological material from Hroznová Street, house no. 23

The aim of the work is to broaden the knowledge of historical bourgeois material culture in the centre of České Budějovice. The analysis focuses on pottery wares and other material obtained during the rescue archaeological excavation on the plot of house no. 23. The morphological as well as technological characteristics of the assemblage under study are observed and provide a better understanding of the evolution and transformation of the material culture of the medieval city.
Medieval weapons (Archaeological findings military artifacts 13th-15th centuries from southern Bohemia)

This bachelor thesis introduces the current typologies of medieval weapons, and describes their basic development in the High and Late Middle Ages. Based on the studied set of militaria found in South Bohemia determines, whether it is possible to capture the evolution of medieval warfare on a regional scale.
