The differences in certain aspects of the lifestyles of men and women serving in the Police of ČR

The bachelor thesis deals with the lifestyle of policemen and policewomen of the Czech Republic. A questionnaire method was used for this research. The survey was attended by 70 police men and women serving at the Police Department in Prague, including 59 men and 11 women. The proportion is determined by the ratio of members from 2016, according to official sources of the Police Department of the Czech Republic, a total of 40.077 members were employed in the Police Department, of which 84,9 % were men and 15,1 % were women. The theoretical part deals with concepts of lifestyle, diet, movement, relaxation and regeneration, stress. It is also characterised by the Police of the Czech Republic. The results of the questionnaire is evaluated in the practical part, which is focused on comparison of some aspects of the lifestyle of men and women serving at the Police Department of the Czech Republic. Further the practical part contains pronouncement and verification of hypotheses. The data obtained from the questionnaire shows that in the rank of members of Police Department in Prague, men drink more alcohol and smoke more cigarettes than women, while women drink more coffee. Men and women are at the same level of quality of eating. Men sport more than women. Men can better relax and reduce stress. Women spend more time watching TV.
