KINZLOVÁ, Lucie
The bachelor thesis deals with etiquette in kindergarten. Its aim is to describe the rules of etiquette with regard to the age of children and look for possibilities to adopt them in kindergarten. The theoretical part defines the term etiquette in relevant context. It offers an insight into the connection of the educational process in kindergarten with acquisition of the basic rules of social behaviour. It characterizes the developmental specifics of preschool children, the specifics of preschool education, its methods and forms. It describes the basic areas in which it is possible to link the daily routine set in a kindergarten with etiquette. The practical part contains a program focused on learning the basic rules of etiquette which is divided into three blocks, considering appropriate dining habits, communication and care of appearance (hygiene habits). It also includes program evaluation including evaluation of acquired habits in these areas and children's view on compliance with rules of social behaviour. The gained experiences are summarized and linked to the theoretical basis in the discussion.
