The History of Physical Education and Sport in Třeboň

This bachelor thesis deals with the history of physical education and sport in Trebon since 1884 up to the present. The thesis is divided in several parts. The first part is about the history of Trebon since 12th century until the world war the second and about history of grammar school in Trebon primarily in the times of both world wars up to the present. Second part outlines historical sport events in Trebon from the estabilishment of the first sport organisation in 1884 until the estabilishment of TJ Jiskra Trebon in 1955. Three main parts of this thesis are divided chronologically according to the timeline. The first of them captures historical sport events from 1884 to 1945. The second part is about the post-war time from 1945 to 1989 and the last part is about the time after 1989 up to the present.
