	Zpracování aktuálních rozměrových standardů lehacího a odpočivného nábytku Káňová, Danica Dissertation deals with the problem of lying and resting furniture, in a partial way is also devoted to seating furniture. With relevance to the changes of population’s height and enlargement of body proportions according to the last measuring, it is necessary to revise the majority of dimensions of human – furniture and standards based on updated measuring. The aim is a statistical evaluation of data from the anthropometrical measuring, acquired within the NIS grant and creating optimal dimensions of lying and resting furniture so that they respond to the needs of current population. Graphical simulations created in ergonomic software Tecnomatix Jack are intended to illustrate the dimension requirements. The result are processed in a form of charts which are classified XS–XL. The outputs are compared to data in professional literature and standards. The optimal dimensions for lying and resting furniture were designed according to the results. Detailed record
