NG-PON2 standard implementation in OPNET Modeler
Cymorek, Patrik ; Jurčík, Michal (referee) ; Horváth, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of this paper is to apprise ourselves with communication in NG-PON2 standard. The first chapter describes optical networks. The second chapter deals with description of NG-PON2 standard and detailed description of downstream and upstream frame. Methods of grant allocation are described at the end of the theoretical section of this paper. Own entities were created in the practical part of this paper and they were used to simulate static and dynamic grant allocation. Designed entities and simulation results were compared with the real network behaviour at the end of the practical part. Designed entities were also used to design a lab exercise in the attachment.
Visualization communication between OLT and ONU units in NG-PON2 networks.
Ilgner, Petr ; Jurčík, Michal (referee) ; Horváth, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is concerned with passive optical networks, which provide solutions of access networks and have sufficient capacity for data-intensive services. The introductory section compares technologies of access networks and evaluates their qualities and usability. The following part focuses concretely on passive optical networks and their hardware. The next section introduces the passive optical network - NG-PON2 standard. The characteristics and principles of establishing a connection between subscriber unit and provider network interface. Further, there is description of the data structures in the network, service messages system and network security options. Special attention is paid to individual operating systems in the network. The practical part represents a design and implementation of visualization software, which displays the data communication between the units of the network.
Design and realisation of a program for measuring equipment EXFO FTB-5700
Stříteský, Radek ; Jurčík, Michal (referee) ; Münster, Petr (advisor)
Main goal of my Bachelor’s thesis is to realize the program for the automatic measurement of optical networks. First part of this project describes the optical fiber, dispersion and types of measurement. There are described chromatic (CD) and polarization mode (PMD) of dispersion. There is described the programming for Windows by using Windows 32 API. Main part are description of creating window of application, work of keyboard and mouse in Windows, sending messages to window procedure and controlling parts in Windows. There is a description of the program and more detailed description of the most important functions in the last part. We can also find here the graphs CD and PMD from the testing automatic measurements.
GUI for the processing of measurements from the optical reflectometer
Vitek, Vojtech ; Jurčík, Michal (referee) ; Münster, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on realisation of the application, that process and display measured data from OTDR device. The first section describes optical fibers, transmission characteristics of fibers and measurement methods of the attenuation on optical path. The second section describes the principle of the OTDR method and measured events on optical path. Final part is dedicated to realisation of the appication by the assignment.
Low level control and data acquisition in the wireless access point MikroTik
Jurčík, Michal ; Červenka, Vladimír (referee) ; Růčka, Lukáš (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is focused on using the ICMP protocol for transferring user-defined data content. The main objective of this thesis is to introduce of using sockets working with OpenWRT operating system, which transmitting ICMP messages. Bachelor thesis is divided into two parts. The first section contains a description of program functions, macros and settings. In the second part there is a description of communication between access points.
Modelling of elastic and inelastic collisions
Jurčík, Michal ; Burget, Radim (referee) ; Karásek, Jan (advisor)
Master's thesis deals with vehicles collisions within an environment of logistic distribution storehous. The aim is to avoid potential collisions that can occur between these vehicles. In the first chapter are detailed collisions of particles and elements impact for the law of conservation of energy and momentum. In further sections is carried out detailed research of elastic and inelastic collisions in an ideal environment, which are the theoretical basis for the simulation of the real environment. Collisions are supported by detailed calculations and added pictures. The second chapter deals with the development of double-layer application simulating elastic collisions in an ideal environment. In subchapters are descriptions of the classes and methods for computing prediction of collisions with examples of source code. The last section describes the software platform JavaFX and used animation classes that are required for visualization issues. The last chapter, which is the main goal of the work is done by the expansion of the existing design environment of storehouse and vehicles. Particular chapters then describe the cases of various types of collisions their detection and avoidance. There is an application designed to address this issue, with a description of the classes and methods. Used methods are supported with flowcharts for easier understanding.
Preparation Of Cold Field Emission Cathodes Withultra Sharp Tips
Jurčík, Michal
This article deals with preparation of very sharp cold field emission cathodes made from polycrystalline tungsten wire which is widely used by other researchers and manufacturers. Common manufacturing process of electrochemical etching in NaOH solution is improved by separation of electrolyte surfaces between anode and cathode. This method prevents hydrogen bubbles, formed on cathode, to fine down the electrolyte surface near anode that cause shockwaves which affect the progress of etching. Separation of surfaces leads to sharper tips of the final cathode which is the main goal of my research.
Automated Electrochemical Etching Prototype for Cold Field Emission Cathodes
Jurčík, Michal
This article deals with a setup for automated cold cathode etching, its difficulties and benefits. As the method is well know there are no articles which describes this procedure in detail at least for tungsten wires from which cathodes are made. To provide stable and repeatable process of cathodes manufacturing, the experimental setup was proposed with full hardware control with aim to assure etching circuit disconnection in order of hundreds of nanoseconds.
