The theme of my thesis is entitled "Effect of reminiscence therapy on the adaptation process in a residential facility Seniors Center Melnik". The aim of this thesis is to determine whether reminiscence therapy has a positive effect on the adaptation process. The text deals with the many terms that relate to the topic. The first deals with terms associated with aging, old age and signs and deals with social services for seniors, residential facilities, adaptation process and reminiscence therapy. The last section is devoted residential facility center for the elderly Melnik. This part contains basic information about the device, but also a specific insight into the adaptation process and methodology reminiscence therapy at the Center of seniors Melnik. The bachelor thesis titled "The Role and methods of work as a probation officer with the juvenile offender" is composed of two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is determined by the basic definitions related to youth and offenders. Further defines a person of a probation officer for children and young people, content the profession and the use of methods of social work. On the basis of qualitative research is to develop a practical part, which consists of case studies for young people who are in a difficult life situation in which they are trying to help a social worker for children and youth.
