Banking contracts

This diploma thesis deals with the topic of banking contracts. Banking contracts can be specified as contracts typically closed by the bank, along its business activity. The aim of this thesis is an analysis of an effective legal regulation of banking contracts. As from the point of common features of banking contracts, then also from the point of view of individual contract types. Although the diploma thesis is elaborated based on effective legal regulation of the Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil code. The author tries, within the frame of each section, bring attention to the most important changes in comparison with the present legal regulation. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first one is dealing with common characteristic of banking contracts. The author defines the idea of bank contracts, summarizes relevant legal regulations and defines contracting parties. Intensified attention is given to a bank as to a typical subject, closing banking contracts on the side of the service provider on one side and to a consumer as a receiver of these services, based on his better protection on the other side. Evaluation of living condition in Moravskoslezsky region

Thesis on assessment of living conditions in the Moravian-Silesian region deals with economic, social and natural characteristics that create the conditions for quality of life.The first part is a literature review of the available and current resources on the topic of living conditions and their investigations within the EU-SILC and the CSO. In terms of economic indicators, the work deals with the average monthly gross wage, with the share of registered unemployment and net disposable income. Social indicators representing education, health and crime. In natural indicators is dealt with land and air, along with emissions. In the empirical part are by statistical methods of time series analysis analyzed and then predicted the individual indicators that significantly affect the living conditions of the population of Moravian-Silesian region in the period 2005 to 2014. The analysis of data was performed using the software Statistica and Excel. Finally, the work is focused on the evaluation summary and findings that emerged from the analysis of indicators monitored by the Moravian-Silesian region and its districts.

Analysis of men and woman´s position in selected sectors of the national economy

This thesis is closely focused on gender issues in terms of employment in sectors of national economy in the Czech Republic and the Moravian-Silesian Region. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts and definitions relating to gender, national economy and time series. In this work the progress of women and mens employment is monitored in Agriculture, forestry and fishing, Public administration and defense, as well as in the sector of Health and social care and Education. Predictions are made by using selected methods from the field of time series. The analysis is done on the basis of available data from the Czech Statistical Office in the period from 1993 to 2015. The final section focuses on the proposals and recommendations for future development.

Analysis of unemployment risk groups in the Moravian-Silesian Region

The thesis deals with selected risk groups of unemployed in Moravian-Silesian region in the years 2006 to 2015. The theoretical part describes the basic concepts related to unemployment and individual risk groups, time series and characteristics of the Region. Own work is focused on the analysis of unemployment in the Czech Republic, Moravian-Silesian region and analysis of high-risk groups of people with reduced working capacity, a group of women and persons caring for children under 15 years of age, risk group of people over the age of 55 years and at risk groups of people according to educational structure. Predictions for the next development period is treated the choice of methods of time series. The analysis is drawn from the available data from the Czech Statistical Office from 2006 to 2015. The final section includes a proposal for measures to improve the future development of the individual groups.

Analysis of beer consumption preferences

The main subject of this thesis is analysis of preferences in beer consumption. The main goal of the thesis is to discover and evaluate factor which could affect consumer's behaviour. Therefore, t2he basis for this thesis is a questionnaire which was prepared according to marketing research principles.
The first part is about beer and marketing research. The part about beer contains main historical data, a brief brewing process description, including main ingredients and beer types. Next, there are mentioned main Czech breweries. Inconsiderable part are also factors which affect beer consumption. In the part dealing with the marketing research are described the steps, methods of data collecting ad data resources.
The second part is about the questionnaire itself and its evaluation. The questionnaire had 322 respondents.
Firstly, the results are summarized and then are tested based on null hypothesis.

Evaluation of the unemployment rate development in the Plzeňský Region

The purpose of this thesis is to evaluate the trend of unemployment rate in the Pilsen Region. At first, the complex theoretical basis for the unemployment issue with regard to the general economics theory is given. As well as basic data on the region surveyed. A statistical tool used to evaluate the trend of unemployment rate is time series analysis. The aim of this thesis is to predict the trend of unemployment rate in 2016.

Analysis of wine consumption preferences

The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts.
The first part is theoretical, it describes the origins of grapevine, the history
of winegrowing in Czech republic and the winegrowing region. This part also sets out
the division of wine according to legislation, processed into a well-arranged chart
and subsequently described in more detail. Described in detail are also the different varieties, specifically the most grown ones on the territory of Czech republic, both red
and white. An important part of the research also consists of marketing, marketing research, its phases and techniques. One of these techniques is questioning, which forms
a part of the pratical part, where it is also described in detail. The factors which influence consumer behavior are described in detail.
The second part consists of the practical part, where the specified hypothesis is verified on the basis of the given questionnaire.

Statistical analysis of sales of the BMW Group company

This bachelor thesis, titled Statisctical analysis of sales the company BMW Group is divided into two parts, theoretical part and practical part. In the theoretical part are described the terms such as general function of the market, general characteristics of the automotive industry, significant moments in automotive history, main factors affecting sales of cars, or selected competitive concerns. Furthermore, there are also described parts of the company BMW Group.
The practical part is divided into two parts. The first part deals with analyzing of the particular development of model series BMW and recording new technologies. The second part is focused on the analysis and comparison of the main models of BMW and Mercedes-Benz, that is a major competitior for BMW. The main objectives will be to assess their trends, finding parallels of the development of the sales trend and prediction for the years 2015 and 2016.
The result of the analysis will determine the leaders of the particular vehicle segments and the previous development and also to determine which of the two automakers is the largest manufacturer of luxury cars in the world.

Statistical analysis of young generation feelings about drug addiction problem

This thesis was focused on the problems of drug addiction among the young generation from 15 to 34 years. The theoretical part was to describe the distribution of drugs by the hardness of substances. It was also described the effects of the individual drugs. Furthermore, the part devoted to the factors that influence the emergence of addiction in humans. In the theoretical part it have also been described family factors that lead to addiction. After creating the theoretical bases were selected according to pre-assembled hypotheses anonymous questionnaire, which was distributed in electronic form between the younger generation and was carried out during February 2016. For the evaluation questionnaire was used statistical program IBM SPSS Statistics 23. The aim investigation was to determine the dependence of the individual cases, such as the correlation between the frequency of substance use and age. In the practical part was mentioned by the results of the annual report on the state of the drugs problem in the Czech Republic in 2014.

Statistical analysis of the Moravian distillery Kojetin

Bachelor thesis evaluates economical development of business activities of Moravian Distillery Kojetin join-stock company in years 2004 - 2012 and later on after acquisition implementation, when this distillery was bought by Tereos TTD join-stock company from Dobrovice, in years 2012 - 2014. Distillery company deals with production of refined fermented alcohol. Several selected indicators of revenues, production, added values, power consumption, assets and liabilities are reviewed on the basis of statistical and financial analysis. The length of the time period of the individual indicators vary according to the availability of data. Statistical analysis is compiled by computing the elementary characteristics of time series. Financial analysis uses ratios of liquidity. The data used in this analysis comes from balance sheets and profit and loss reporting period. On the basis of these analyzes are presented suggestions and recommendations, which should contribute to improving the situation of the distillery company.
