It focuses on a presentation about the musculoskeletal system and the corporeal processes during a musical play. This paper moreover answers the question how important the compensation of unilateral movements is and presents options of compensation. The aim of this work is to summarize observations, personal experiences and analysis of professional sources. The outcome of this examination ought to be a beneficial and healthy system of exercises for oboists which is not only oriented on the way of practicing the musical instrument but also on the suitable physical exercises. The conclusion finally recapitulates the most important aspects of health care.
