User - Spectator in the Contemporary Documentary Film 2.0

This thesis takes a look at the main issues of interactive forms of contemporary documentary film 2.0. Its aim is to present a general overview of the emerging field of interactive documentary film and its audiences. The thesis is focused on the new possibilites that the proces of digitalisation and digital distribution has opened for the producers as well as for the spectators in terms of narration, control over it and the challenges that it brings along. It is structured in thematic chapters and it prooves the theoretical knowledge stated on practical examples. To conclude a general hypothesis is provided on possible future developments and application of documentary film 2.0.
