The task of the diploma thesis is to prepare an architectural-urban study of a large multifunctional complex of the AGRISPOL company in the village of Mořice. The proposal is to have a wide scope, design of biogas plant, storage facilities, silos, internal roads, accommodation and recreation. The agricultural centre owns four agricultural sites, Mořice, Vitčice, Vrchoslavice and Pavlovice near Kojetín. The topic of the pre-diploma thesis was the agricultural centre Vitčice. The main idea of the thesis was to design efficient communications, layout and arrangement of the biogas plant, revitalization of garages and workshops, design of storage halls for the purposes of the cooperative or for rent. The eastern part of the plot is designated for short-term housing and senior housing in the proposed nursing home, supplemented by services such as manicure, pedicure, hairdresser. These two units are divided into almost two identical buildings that resemble a hockey stick in shape. The combination of these two shapes has created an inner courtyard which serves as a garden/park for the adjacent accommodation units. The park will be freely accessible to the public. The capacity of the nursing home is 16 accommodation units. The units include a hallway, private bathroom and a living room with kitchenette. The capacity of the adjacent apartment building with an adjacent multifunctional part is 8 flats of 1+kk size and 9 flats of 2+kk size. The apartments are designed as starter housing for young couples or for accommodation of AGRISPOL employees. It is a form of short-term housing.
Winery Marcinčák Novosedly
Janovská, Tereza ; Todorov, Petr (referee) ; Boleslavská, Yvona (advisor) ; Petříček, Tomáš (advisor)
The subject of the bachelor's thesis for the academic year 2020/21 was the design of a representative and production space for winemaker Petr Marcinčák, the owner of the Marcinčák winery, whose current object does not correspond to the required representation. The newly created building is located on the outskirts of the village Novosedly, on an elevated hill Stara hora. This plot offers a unique view of the Palava wine region and the nearby wine town of Mikulov, which is dominated by the local castle. The land is situated uphill. Its terrain is sloping using the so-called terraces, where the individual terraces are spaced up to four meters in height. With the help of these height spacings, I could afford to design a partially recessed building. The representation part and the production part are located separately so that the production does not disturb possible guests of the winery. The production hall is designed in the lower part of the plot. Structurally, it is a skeletal system with a vegetation roof. The representative building is designed as a system of three blocks folded into a triangle with the height difference of the individual blocks. The space was created between the blocks and is used for communication. The first floor, also the entrance, serves as a reception for newly accommodated guests, a tasting room and accommodation. The second floor is used for catering and wine representation. The first underground floor serves as an accommodation. The whole building is designed from monolithic reinforced concrete. The main part of the tasting and catering is solved by reinforced concrete frames due to the large span. The roofs are used as terraces or vegetation roofs, with the exception of the roofing of the last above-ground floor, where it is a classic single-skin roof. The facade of the building is designed individually depending on the height of the floor. Stone cladding is chosen for the underground floor. The first floor is

Battered Woman Syndrome and Associated Social and Health Risks
JANOVSKÁ, Tereza
Domestic violence is currently one of the most common type of violence and includes all forms of physical, psychological and sexual violence. It occurs at all levels of society and it does not discriminate neither between age or intellectual layers. Domestic violence occurs in cases of women, men, children and even elderly people. It does not discriminate regarding skin colour, political or religious beliefs or the level of education. Violence perpetrated in privacy on our closest people is part of our entire society. Still the most common type of violence is the one perpetrated on women. Violence threatens health as well as overall life of the victim. Long-term consequences of violence against another person arise the battered person syndrome which is discussed in this bachelor thesis. This bachelor thesis is divided in two parts. The theoretical part is about basic characteristic of domestic violence and discusses its various characters, causes and its consequences for the victims. In this bachelor thesis you can also find an explanation of the division of roles by gender, according to which the idea of the authoritative man and the submissive woman is anchored in our society. Then the basic pillar of the whole theoretical part follows, which is battered women's syndrome itself. In this chapter and subchapter the onset and course of the syndrome is described by means of specialized literature. The end of the theoretical includes institutions and legal measures, which the Czech Republic established to help abused persons. The second part consists of the practical part, which is the main focus of the whole bachelor thesis. It consists of a drawn qualitative research, which consists of semi-structured interview with five female communication partners that are currently experiencing violence from their partner. Data were collected in a Crisis center for children and family. After theoretical description of the strategy, techniques and methodologies, the description of a sample and the research itself follows. The main goal is mapping the life situation of battered women. Research question focuses on identifying the actual subjective experience of battered women and their perception of a difficult situation. This thesis should lead to understandable infomation about victims of domestic violence and its consequences. Research results have shown that abused women grew up in conflicting families and in their childhood they recorded disputes between their parents. Furthermore battered women recorded psychological, medical and social impacts that lead to decreased self-esteem, loss of friends and becoming withdrawn. Battered women do not trust strangers, do not like to talk about their problem and they are convinced that it is beyond their power to emerge from this difficult situation, despite the fact that it is their wholeheartedly wish. The bachelor thesis could be beneficial to the education of social workers who are interested in the issue of battered people and could enrich the knowledge of the society in general.
