Advantages and drawbacks of the use of selected accounting programs in the processing agenda of long-term assets

The aim of this thesis was to compare the selected accounting programs in terms of the possibilities of data processing, speed of the processing and clearly organized of data. This thesis will be used by the certain company and therefore it is specialized on long-term assets. The thesis is divided into two main parts, theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part is defined long-term assets, the way of get of long-term assets, depreciation and the way of eliminate of long-term assets and accounting of long-term assets. For the practical part was selected four accounting programs, in which were described various procedures in agenda of long-term assets.

Compare of the depreciation of long-term asset in certain company

In my bachelor thesis I deal with the depreciation of long-term tangible assets and long-term intangible assets. In the theoretical part I write the characteristics of the different types of assets and everything related with the holding of long-term assets in enterprises from its acquisition until its removal from the register. The practical part shows the calculations of depreciations of selected assets and I find impacts of the choice of accelerated tax depreciations or linear tax depreciations and the determination of the calculation of book depreciation on the tax base in the specific entity.

Internal Migration in Czech Republic

Process of migration has been recently an essential part of population changes. There are certain areas where the migration has significant impact on population size. Moving within the frontiers (internal migration) makes major part of migration turnover in Czech Republic while moving between countries (external migration) has lesser effect. The aim of this thesis is an analysis of internal migration of population of Czech Republic between years 2001 and 2009. The thesis focuses on the general development of migration process in the state territory during this time and also explores migration flows between regions and districts, especially in the relation to the capital city. One section is dedicated to the suburbanization and the trends related to this process in the Czech Republic.
