Family Tree Healing. Theological reception of a current issue
Herink, Robin ; Brož, Prokop (advisor) ; Mohelník, Tomáš (referee)
The Bachelor thesis 'Family Tree Healing: Family Tree Healing. Theological reception of a current issue' first shows the presence of this issue in the world of media, especially in the weekly catholic magazine called 'Katolický týdenik'. It introduces the book 'Family Tree Healing' by Dr. K. McAll and the doctrinal note of the Czech Bishops' Conference (CBC) which speaks about this issue. The main part is a theological analysis which compares arguments of this note with the original texts by Dr. McAll and P. Hampsch. The aim of this thesis is to find out whether the practice of Family Tree Healing contradicts the teachings of the Church as the doctrinal note states. The text about the healing ministry with the emphasis on the sacrament of the Eucharist as well as the chapter called 'Access Points' summarizing the domains, which the practice of Family Tree Healing deals with, complete the researched issue.

Finally this thesis looks for an appropriate contemporary form of the Examen prayer, it deals with its many difficulties and challenges and puts forward some proposals to enrich regular practice of this prayer.
