Aim: The aim of the study was to describe and analyze the occurrence of DRPs, their severity, management, and acceptance of proposed interventions. Methods: The study took place during January and February 2024 in a district hospital in the Olomouc region, specifically in the nursing department, where two departments labeled as A and B are located. Health documentation of hospitalized patients was used for data collection. Basic characteristics such as age, gender, diagnoses, pharmacotherapy, laboratory values, as well as individual drug-related problems, their management, and assessment of clinical severity were recorded. DRPs were identified during pharmacotherapy review, which occurred upon admission or shortly thereafter. Data were recorded in an online database and subsequently statistically analyzed. AF is up to 40 % asymptomatic. Pharmacists are in contact with many patients every day, as a result, can play a role in detecting many diseases, including AF. The screening of AF in pharmacies is now recognized as one of the established strategies for opportunistic screening of AF. Aim: The aim of this study was to demonstarte the possibility of pharmacist involvement in AF screening to potentially detect AF and other heart conditions. A sub-objective of the project was to increase awareness of AF among the general public. Methods: The measurements took place in a community pharmacy located within a health center for several weeks between July 17, 2023 and August 25, 2023 and during two weeks in March 2024. In terms of adherence, a once-daily regimen appears to be a better alternative. However, there may be a higher risk of treatment failure if the dose is missed. The aim of the practical part of the thesis was to analyse patients' attitudes and experiences with DOACs, complemented by data from medical records, with a focus on aspects related to DOAC dosing. Methods: Data collection for this prospective study was carried out from 2020 to 2022 at the Internal Cardiology Outpatient Clinic of the University Hospital in Brno. Methods: The Czech Multicenter Research Database of COPD, non-interventional observational prospective study, was used as a source of clinical data. They can be often obtained in supermarkets and petrol stations. Objectives: The main goal of this research was to analyse the real situation in the stores selling SMP, according to good practise and the provision of consultancy during the selling of SMP by staff in Hradec Králové and its near surrounding. The purpose was extended to finding the availability and selling of SMP in Czech Republic. Methods: The practical part consisted of two phases. In the first phase, two anonymous visits were done. The first visit went on without asking staff. During the second visit the staff was asked for advice. The second phase consisted of an online questionnaire about demand, availability and saleability of SMP. In total, 2632 retailers were asked about took part in it. Their main task is to ensure the payment of health services in the form of health insurance. The objective of the work was to analyze the development of health insurance companies in the Czech Republic with a focus on the costs of medicinal products (MP) and medical devices (MD) dispensed on medical prescription in the years 2018-2020. Methodology: Data on health insurance companies' economy were obtained from the annual reports for the years 2018-2020, which health insurance companies publish on their websites. Data on the total costs of selected health services related to prescription of MP and MD and expenses for MP and MD dispensed on prescription issued by health service providers were processed.
