Neural Network Based Face Localization
Hendrych, Pavel ; Šiler, Ondřej (referee) ; Švub, Miroslav (advisor)
This thesis issues with possible methods for face detection and localization according to the state of the art. It describes various approaches and it is aimed at localization by neural networks and at necessary operations that have to be done before localization and after that for correct results representation. This project contains implementation of few approaches to neural netwok based face localization with emphasis on eigenfaces based face localization as well as implementation of simple classifier using distance of reconstructed face to the original one. Detailed description of implemented system, achieved results and dependecy of system performance on it's inner settings is also provided.
Apartment complex Brno-Sadová
Hendrych, Pavel ; Jacková, Eva (referee) ; Sátora, Josef (advisor) ; Mohelníková, Jitka (advisor)
The bachelorˇs thesis apartment complex Sadová. Work solves a lot from urban and architecture viewpoint. Complex is created by three apartment houses with three above-ground levels and 1 underground level. A lot is divided on relax and traffic zone. The simple frame and Velox system solution support low-energy solution. Main part of thesis is process on realization projct level.
Sanatorium with Speleotherapy Ostrov u Macochy
Hendrych, Pavel ; Štěpán, Marek (referee) ; Odvárka, Antonín (advisor)
The diploma project proposes The Children´s Sanatorium with Speleotherapy Ostrov u Macochy which is to take place in the Císařská Cave. Site is located close to the mentioned cave in an exposed natural environment adjacent by urban housing which is represented by dispersed detached houses. An ambition of project is connecting an existing down-entrance to Císařská Cave with design new up-entrance, building of speleotherapy and existing development. There is created a new interconnection which respects and supports a local morphology. The building is situated on the end of connector in direct continuity with existing roads and development which suitably complements because of architecture form based on an archetyp of traditional cottage. The complex offers services for rehabilitation, sanatorium, accommodation and sports for childrens clients and general public too. A project intention was an effort to maximize incorporation the volume to feature of town, townscape with gabled roofs and natural surroundings with preservation high users comfort.

Modal analysis of FEM's model of rotor wheel with through bandage
Pešek, Luděk ; Hendrych, Pavel
The aim of this work was to compute frequency-modal behavior, i.e. eigenfrequencies in range up to 1.6kHz and corresponding eigenmodes, for the rotor bladed wheel with through bandage by finite element method using production drawings. This task was carried out in frame of contract with Škoda Energo s.r.o., Plzeň.
Dynamic analysis of turbine blade M4
Hendrych, Pavel ; Pešek, Luděk ; Vaněk, František
This contribution is aimed at the numerical dynamic analysis of steam turbine low-pressure blade M4 both in steady state and under rotation. The verification of the free-free numerical model based on the modal analysis was carried out. The numerical model was developed as a three-dimensional finite element model. The Cambell diagram was calculated with respect to stress stiffening and spin softening effects.
Modelling Coriolis effect of rotating turbine blade for dynamic analysis
Hendrych, Pavel ; Pešek, Luděk
This contribution is aimed at the numerical description of the dynamic behavior of the turbine blade under rotation including the effects of stress stiffening due to geometrical non-linearity, spin softening and Coriolis forces. The 3D FEM model and the numerical solution of the stress stiffening and eigenvalue problem with unsymmetrical coefficient matrices were developed.
Frequency response functions modelling of the human skull with simulation of brain tissue influence
Pešek, Luděk ; Horáček, Jaromír ; Hendrych, Pavel
The frequency dependent transfer functions between various anatomically important points on the skull are modelled using the previously developed finite element (FE) models of the human skull. The influence of the brain tissue is taken into account and the results are compared with the original data obtained by the experimental modal analysis where the effects of soft tissues were simulated by an especially prepared gel.
