The History of the Congregation of the ECCB in Třebíč

The thesis presents the history and individual events of the independent parish in the area of Horacky seniorat of the Czech brethren evangelical Church in Trebic. The history of the congregation is preceded by a short presentation of the broader historical context, which is very important and essential. The observed period begins in 1277 and ends in late 1989, while the founding congregation itself dates back to March 31, 1920. Six preachers managed the chorus in periods of various length. The thesis is based on the selection and interpretation of important dates and events, based on primary sources stored in state and private archives. Interestingly they offer some important statistics for comparison and illustration of the development of the monitored data. The thesis includes plenty of pictures, especially photocopies of interesting documents evidencing the described events. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
