Chosen aspects of family environment, maternal sensitivity and its influence on the relatonship between mother and child

This thesis deals with maternal support and care in stressful situation, especially what effect have chosen family environment. The theoretical part is devoted to topics like attachment, family and raising child. Furthermore, the author focuses on the foster care and the description of behaviour of foster children. In the empirical part was analyzed semi-structured interview with eight mothers. There were four foster mothers and four mothers with their biological children. In this thesis was examined differences between these two groups of mothers in using coping strategies. Significant differences weren't found in strategies used by mothers between chosen groups. We placed upon record factors affected their choices. Some of these factors are influenced by examined family environment.
