Summary Bachelor thesis deals with stressful situations which effect a vocational training teacher of chefs' courses. The thesis is divided into two parts -- theoretical and practical. The objective of the theoretical part is to describe teachers' difficult situations, stress, stressing factors, reasons and consquences of the difficulties which occur in the vocational training teacher's work. Consequently, the personality of the teacher is described, and also the typology of teachers as well as the strategy of handling stressful situations. The method of the theoretical part is a study of professional resources, making excerpts and their analysis, synthesis and comparison. The aim of the practical part is to find out how vocational training teachers of the chefs' courses cope and manage stressful situations in the workplace. A qualitative access by the method of a half-structured profound dialogue is carried out with teachers of vocational training at training centres of Secondary School of Catering, Trade and Services, Charbulova 106, Brno. The obtained data were further analyzed by means of open coding. Recommedations for pedagogice and psychological practice are defined according to the outcomes.
