Gyepesová, Angelika ; Pilinszki, Martin (referee) ; Daněk, Lukáš (advisor)
The submitted bachelor's thesis presents project documentation for a new apartment building in the town of Liptovský Hrádok. The building is designed in a slightly sloppy terrain as a free-standing building with five floors above ground level and one underground floor. In the basement there are vaults, warehouses, technical facilities and a garage with 17 parking spaces. In the premises of the first floor, there is a non-production plant, which is a chocolate-shop with a capacity of 32 people. From the second to the fifth floor, there are 14 residential units with a total capacity of 42 people. The vertical load-bearing system in the above-ground floors is designed as brick made of ceramic blocks. In the basement, it is made of monolithic reinforced concrete. Perimeter walls above ground level are contact-insulated with the ETICS system. The horizontal load-bearing ceiling structures are made of reinforced concrete slabs. The roofing is a sloping crossed roof with an angle of 25 °.

The aim of the diploma thesis is the design of sports centre with nearly zero energy consumption. The thesis is consist of three parts. First part is focused on architectural and structural design. Second part is focused on building services designs. Third part is focused on acoustic assessment of the building. The building is located in Šternberk on a sloping terrain. It has two floors, irregular floorplan and flat roof. The capacity of the building is 104 people. In the building there are rooms for table tennis, spinning, TRX and a gym. There are also massage rooms and a sauna. The building includes a buffet with refreshment and a shop with nutritional supplements. The structural system of building is combined. The structural framework consists of prefabricated columns and beams. The internal and external load-bearing walls are designed from lime-sand blocks and the partition walls are from aerated concrete. The floor and roof structures are designed of prestressed concrete. Heating in the building and the water heating is secured by two ground source heat pump and a stationary condensing gas boiler. Ventilation is provided by air-handling units with heat recovery. Cooling is secured by one of the heat pumps. Electricity consumption is partially covered by photovoltaic panels on the roof. The building has incorporated rainwater storage tank for watering greenery. The third part of this diploma thesis deals with room acoustics and the closely related issue of reverberation. Part of the work is a drafting of acoustic modifications of the sports rooms based on manual calculation. The project aims to improve the acoustic properties of the premises by incorporating elements that have sufficient sound absorption. These are perforated false ceilings, acoustic wooden cladding with different perforations and green walls.
