Grešl, Michal ; KASÍK, Martin (advisor) ; KRAJNÝ, Boris (referee)
This work focuses on describtion and analysis of Preludes by A.N.Scriabin. During his life, Scriabin composed 90 preludes. These pieces can be divided in 3 periods - early, middle and late period. The differences between these periods of time are connected to a transition from being a composer to being a philosopher. The development of his philosophical thoughts are described in a chapter called Composer - Philosopher. In chapter three, I concentrate on the influence by F. Chopin in Scriabins early years. I also compare their 24 preludes. The further development of harmony and motive structure is discussed in the last chapter. An analysis of his last composition - 5 preludes op. 74, is included. Analysis of Scriabins preludes is influenced by my personal experience - in that I see the biggest contribution of my thesis.
