The influence of ionizing radiation to the DNA-estrogen receptor complex
Štísová, Viktorie ; Běgusová, Marie ; Spothein-Maurizot, M. ; Goffinont, J.
The influence of ionizing radiation on the stability of specific complex between DNA bearing estrogen response element and estrogen receptor protein. Protein irradited alone loses its ability to form the complex with nonirradiated DNA at much lower doses than these when the whole complex is destroyed. Theoretical model RADACK has been applied to calculate yields of damages within DNA and protein.
