This thesis deals with influence of childhood environment without one parent for the identity of child. Recently the society is created with uncomplete families, the causes are diffrent. The most frequent reason of uncomplete family is the divorce of marriage, next cause is the death of one parent, another reason is the choice of one parent to stay with a child alone. The definition of identity is an appreciation of myself. Children from uncomplete families realized their diffrenece of children from comlete families who have both parents. This could be the consequence of many problems. The girls brouht without their male model could have problems with creating of partner´s relationships. In case of boys, misssing father could means the absence of autority, courage, power. The practical part uses dialogs like a technique of research. Interviewed are at the age from 23 to 43 years. They grew up in uncomplete family environment. The results of research are complemented by data obtained in dialogs and as well as the commentaries by author. This part is concluded with a thorough analysis of the data. The results show that the girls whose father died could have problems with creating of relationships bacause of missing male model. The girls don´t know how to deal with men. Other results are the daily dreams of children about death parent. Child imagine that the parent is still alive. These dreams help them to settle with missing parent. It is very important for children from divorced families as well as for children whose parent died. Another important finding is that the properties of mother have big influence for settle with the situation. If the mother is able to occupate her child and take the male role, for child is it much more easier.
