Světelný objekt
Domanická, Romana
The aim of this thesis is to create a light object. We can imagine basically anything under the term light object, but we are mainly focused on the clock. The clock consists of 12 wooden blocks in which LED strips with 60 LEDs are built. Each wooden block with a strip represents one hour and every LED alone represents one minute. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The task of the theoretical part is to analyze all theoretical knowledge. It contains the main chapters which include standards, history, psychology, light perception, particular luminaires, their origin, sources, design, usage, LED, clock, time and ergonomics and their subchapters. The following practical part deals with a specific product, its inspiration, designs and research, shape and material, construction, price range and last but no least the final design and its visualizations. The practical part also consists of attachments that contain drawings and visualizations created in 2D and 3D programs.
