Kontrola kvality vod Bílého potoka
Brychtová, Jana
This work is focused on monitoring the water quality of the White Creek and basic information characterizing the selected site. Samples were collected from October 2012 to September 2013 monthly to capture the changes in the seasons. I measured the conductivity and pH of samples taken from three locations using the multimeter. Two measured sections were chosen in the natural park of the White Creek Valley third grader segment is outside the Valley of the White Creek near the source of the White Creek. Measurements should prove fluctuations pH and conductivity in the case of larger tributary waters from rainfall or melting snow. The paper further describes the natural park of the White Valley Creek with regard to protected species occurring plants and animals. There are also described methods, principles and importance of pH and conductivity. The work is made of the laws governing water quality and flow distribution. In conclusion is emphasized influence of pH on aquatic life and the importance of measuring these indicators. The aim of the work was the monitoring of selected sections of the stream flow White Creek using selected methods (pH, conductometry).
Snížení obsahu biogenů ve vodě za využití vodních makrofyt
Brychtová, Jana
The aim of the thesis was to prove the efficiency of aquatic plants in removing of water biogens, to produce a list of aquatic plants suitable for this purpose and laboratory verification of the selected plants which were monitored for pH, conductivity, total N, total P, ammonia nitrogen, nitrite nitrogen, nitrate nitrogen, plant growth capes and light intensity. Data obtained in experiments by laboratory measurements are processed into a graphic form and there are also available tables of measured values. Experiments were carried out in the classroom and anjanced laboratory building of the M Mendel University in the period from 17.6.2015 to 31.3. 2016. The selected plants for tests became duckweed (Lemna minor) and reed canary grass (Phalaris arundinacea). Tests were carried out in the length of 7 to 14 days for the duckweed and 7.5 months for the canary. Measured results confirmed the information obtained from other works and verified the results.
Pharmaceutical utilization of flowers from cultivated varieties of elderberry
Brychtová, Jana ; Spilková, Jiřina (advisor) ; Kašparová, Marie (referee)
- 1 - Flowers of elderberry - Sambuci nigrae flos are used in medicine, pharmacy, food and cosmetic industry. The drug provides a diuretic, diaphoretic activities, the antidiabetic and antioxidant effects have been found out recently. The main content substances are flavonoids and hydroxycinnamic acids. The content of flavonoids was determined in flowers of wild elderberry and cultivated varieties. The flower varieties Allesö, Bohatka, Haschberg, Mammut, Sambo, Sambu, Samdal, Sampo, Samyl and Weihenstephan, collected in 2012-2014, were analyzed. The flowers of cultivated varieties contain 0,65% to 2,33% flavonoids expressed as isoquercitroside. All analyzed samples except of variety Allesö (2013) kept requirement of pharmacopoeia for the drug Sambuci nigrae flos. The content of flavonoids of different varieties fluctuated annually. The content was balanced especially in varieties Mammut and Haschberg.

Anthocyanins from some cultivars of Sambucus nigra L. fruits. II
Brychtová, Jana ; Spilková, Jiřina (advisor) ; Dušek, Jaroslav (referee)
The fruits of elderberry - Sambuci fructus are used in the pharmaceutical and food industry. Fruits contain anthocyanins and flavonoids in addition to cyanogenic glycoside sambunigrin, organic acids, vitamins, sugars. Fruits from cultivated varieties are not used in pharmaceutically yet. The content of anthocyanins in the fruits of Sambucus nigra L. varieties Alessö, Bohatka, Haschberg, Mammut, Sambo, Sambo, Samdal, Sampo, Samyl, Weihenstephan and wild elderberry was determined by spectrophotometry. The amount of anthocyanins was recalculated for dried fruits and expressed by percentage of cyanidin chloride. Cultivated varieties shown lower values of anthocyanins than wild elderberry excerpt for Samyl variety. Statistically significant differences were found between contents of anthocyanins of varieties.
