Využití poloparazitických rostlin v sadech a vinohradech
Borowiecki, Ondřej
Hemiparasitic species Rhinanthus minor and Rhinanthus alectorolophus are used in meadow and grassland restoration, where they regulate dominant species by parasitation. This bachelor’s thesis is focused on usage of Rhinanthus minor and Rhinanthus alectorolophus in orchards, and Melampyrum arvense in vineyards and their potential benefits in orchard and vineyard greening. A summary of physiology and ecology of hemiparasitic plants including definition of hemiparasitism is presented. Possible impacts on community where hemiparasites occur are mentioned as well. Agricultural technologies used in orchards and vineyards are summarized, with focus on the most commonly used greening mixtures. Lastly, hemiparasitic growth on orchard plots is evaluated and a greening mixture with hemiparasitic usage in orchards and vineyards is proposed.
