Nursing care of patient provided by a mobile hospice nurse

My bachelor thesis is divided into the theoretical and nursing part. In the theoretical part, I deal with three large units, which are "Death and dying", "Palliative care" and "Mobile specialized palliative care facilities". In the chapter entitled Death and dying, I acquaint readers with the model of five stages of mourning and the different periods of dying. In the chapter dedicated to palliative care, I try to approach the issue of palliative care. In this chapter, I deal with the types of palliative care, the indication of palliative care in terminally ill patients as well as legislative amendments and ethical aspects of this kind of care. My last and largest unit in the theoretical part is the chapter called "Mobile specialized palliative care facilities" where I mention the history and presence of mobile hospices just like legal norms, requirements imposed on providers, and financing of mobile hospices. I also mention the target group of MSPC (Mobile Specialized Palliative Care), its indications and the multi-professional team of a mobile hospice where I mainly focus on the role of a nurse in a mobile hospice. Activities of a general nurse at standard medical unit

This bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis of nurses' activities working on a standard internal ward. The theoretical part focuses on the description of internal medicine and internal illnesses. It also contains a description of the departments division, nursing problems of patients with an internal illness and the concept of missed nursing care. The theoretical part ends with the description of nurses competence by the law 391/2017Sb. The second part of the thesis, the empirical part, focuses on documenting activities of nurses on a standard internal ward during their shift using an ethnographical method which enabled me to capture and examine these activities in detail.
