Technical education and its concept in primary schools in the region

This diploma thesis is devoted to a current state of teaching methods in technical education at primary schools in the South Bohemian Region. The acquired data were subsequently used to develop teaching methods in technical education at the Department of Applied Physics and Technology, Faculty of Education, University of South Bohemia (KAFT PF JU). To identify the condition of technical education in the region there was chosen a descriptive method in the form of a questionnaire survey. From the survey results, among other findings, emerged that the classrooms for the technical education have the form of a wood-metal workshop in most of the primary schools, although around half of them is equipped with modern facilities. There is other finding related to the mentioned statement. Almost a third of the addressed schools have 3D printer available. Surprising finding was also that 81.5% of the respondents were not familiar with the ongoing pilot project led by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. The project concerns the introduction of the subject "Technology" in selected primary schools. Based on the survey results there were several new concepts of equipment and layout of the workshops at the Department of Applied Physics and Technology, Faculty of Education, University of South Bohemia (KAFT PF JU) proposed.
School practice in a company - comparison of current and new approaches

This bachelor thesis deals with a vocational training in a high school and a professional training in a company. First, the current model of the vocational training in the particular high school in České Velenice was mapped. Afterwards, a questionnaire survey was made. The respondents were the students and alumni of this high school. The questionnaire survey focused on issues related to vocational training, instruments for the vocational training, projects, professional training in the company and internships. Based on specialised literature and the results of the questionnaire survey an innovated model of teaching was created.
