Robert Schumann and Concertpiece for four french horns, op. 86. The thesis is dividend into three chapters. The first chapter deals composer's life, the second chapter deals concertpiece for four horns, it is origin and formal analysis. In the third chapter I compare interpretation of this concertpiece and biographies of interprepts, that recorded this concertpiece.

This study investigates the warm up process of an advanced french horn player. Through and meaningful warm up should be as natural as brushing teeth that is why I call it hygiene. Above all, this study should be a tool for every player who hasn’t created his own system of warm up and inspiration for everyone else who wants to refresh his daily warm up routine. In this study you will find daily exercises for widening the range, tongue speed, embouchure flexibility, which I recieved by several professional horn players.

The theme of this thesis is aimed at helping a player to handle embouchure issues. The embouchure of this work is a comprehensive outline form proofing techniques that even without audiovisual examples helped the players to understand and acquire all the right ways to play. The result is a comprehensive list of methods of work with the embouchure. In practice, this work is recommended for use all of hornists, who want to master technique of playing the French horn.
French horn in Bohemia after 1945

The bachelors work named ?French horn in Bohemia after 1945" is based on the most important information concerning French horn in the period od 1945 - 2012. The work is divided into four chapters. First chapter refers about the personality of Zdeněk Tylšar, the genius who brought highly visible merit into the world of French-horn-players. Second chapter is focused to AMU Prague and JAMU Brno, significant educators and important students - graduates. The third chapter describes Czech Philharmonic Orchestra and the history of members of its horn section since 1945. The fourth chapter summarises the overview of horn international courses in the Czech Republic - "Hornclass". Attached information - the student memories of schoolteachers František Šolc and Zdeněk Tylšar, personal dialogue with Radek Baborák and Bedřich Tylšar.
J. Haydn - Works for French Horn

This thesis focuses on musical pieces writen by J. Haydn which feature horn as a solo or prominent instrument. That includes solo concerts, double concerto, chamber and orchestral music. Authors biography focuses on orchestras which he worked with and on abilities of players which he wrote his music for. The work lists solo pieces, chamber pieces and orchestral pieces that feature the horn. This thesis concludes with analysis of horn concerto Hob. VIId:3.

The topic of this Bachelor´s thesis is the ´´Horn Class of the P. J. Vejvanovský Conservatory in Kroměříž´´. The thesis is divided into three chapters with subchapters. The first chapter discusses the City of Kroměříž. In the second chapter, the P. J. Vejvanovský Conservatory in Kroměříž is introduced. The third chapter is dedicated to a discussion of graduates and teachers and students of the Conservatory. The third chapter and its subchapters make up the major part of this Bachelor´s thesis. Included as an attachment to this thesis is a CD containing a photographic record of graduates and teachers.
