Psychosocial and Legal Assistance to Victims of Traffic Accidents

The diploma thesis treats of momentousness of the road traffic accidents and consequences to the lives of the victims of the traffic accidents and survivors. The thesis arises from the matter of psychosocial sciences and its main aim is not only to chart the problems of road traffic accidents in the point of view of the socioeconomic consequences and injuries but also to inform and show on the serious effects of the road traffic accidents to the psychical, social and often economical life of the individual and to extend the consciousness and know-how of the general and professional public about this complicated point s at issue. In the theoretical part of the thesis the term psychosocial aid means not only the critical aid, but also the concrete following professional services which are instanced as a view in the thesis. The legal aid to the victims of the traffic accidents is specified as a survey of the claims which come from the system of social security in the Czech Republic. The diploma thesis treats of momentousness of the road traffic accidents and consequences to the lives of the victims of the traffic accidents and survivors.
