Absolín, Pavel
This bachelor thesis focuses on an evaluation of the usage of drinking, sewage and rainwater in Czech households. The first part consists of literary review. In addition to providing detailed information on drinking, sewage, and rainwater, this section also addresses ways of using sewage water and rainwater within the household. Water management in sixteen selected Czech households is examined in the practical part. The data used were obtained in the form of a questionnaire. The data were measured in the period between 1.11.2017 and 1.11.2018. The research shows that the average consumption of the drinking water in selected households is 88,2 l per person per day. Family houses show higher consumption of drinking water per person than the apartments. The water consumption is declining as the average age of household members is increasing. The practical part also consists of suggestions of measures which lead to savings.
