Forming children's relationship to animals of age 3 -7

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to decsribe how the relation between children ans animals is created in nursery school, to compare in this regard nursery schools in the town and in the countrside and to offer appropriate activities having as a target present to children animated and inanimate nature. In theoretical part there is a relation between child and animal and possibility of contact between children and animals especially through the nursery schools and by the activities prepared by them. It is clarified here which are the requirements to teachers regarding environmental education. The aim of the practical part is to find out whith help of the questionnaire research what is the relation of children between 3 and 7 years old to animals according to statement of their parents and teachers. Next point is to find out if the nursery schools allow to children direct contact with animals and how they do it. Activities offered by nursery school in Branice and serving as an introduction to animated nature and creation of relation to nature are also included in practical part. The examples of activities developing the knowledge about animals could be as an ispiration for teachers. In the end of this thesis there is list of selected organisations in Southern Bohemia offering to children contact with animals.
