The motive of death in Group 42

This paper focuses on the approach to the motif of death in texts by authors belonging to the literary part of Group 42. It examines the similarities and differences in individual approaches to this motif in their texts published during the group's existence (1942-1948) in relation to the theoretical thesis posited by Jindřich Chalupecký, Group 42's theoretician. It also takes note of the overall poetics of their books, specific analogous moments, and significant differences.
