The Theory of Multiple Intelligences and its Consequences for Educational Practice

The thesis presents The Theory of Multiple Intelligences by Howard Gardner. In the first part, it deals with the concept of intelligence and basic approaches to its study. It also deals with necessary criteria for the term of intelligence. It is followed by description of the various intelligences and presents critique of the Theory. The last chapter summarizes its possible consequences for Educational Practice and for leisure education theory.
