Hydrogen pressure reduction before injection into the power unit
Švestka, Jiří ; Zeizinger, Lukáš (referee) ; Štětina, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor thesis's central argument revolves around the depressurisation of hydrogen and the pressure regulator required to do so. It explores the journey of hydrogen from its production through distribution to the ways of multiple applications. Specific emphasis is placed on the characteristic properties of hydrogen that need to be taken into account during the design of the reduction valve itself. In this thesis, the design of a high-pressure pressure regulator optimized for piece production is presented, together with an analysis of the dynamics of hydrogen as it passes through the valve.
Developments of Car Drive Train
Švestka, Jiří ; Kloss, Ondřej (referee) ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (advisor)
The final project contains the relavant piece of evidence about the development and use of frictional gearbox with the infinitely variable transmission, which is used in cars. The construction and the principle of those gearboxes is also described. Furtermore, advantages and disadvantages are assessed with respect to the conventional gearbox. Finally, the author’s opinions and views about frictional gearbox with the infinitely variable transmission are presented.
Microbending fiber optic sensors
Švestka, Jiří ; Štohl, Radek (referee) ; Šedivá, Soňa (advisor)
This thesis deals with the influence microbending the transmitted signal at the bare optical fiber. Microbending influence on the transmitted signal is investigated in this work by changing the weight, power and water level in the tank by using this test fixture. The results of the experiments are proposed to enter the laboratory tasks to measure the impact microbending the transmitted signal in the subject line fiber-optic sensors (MOES).
Study of plunger pump with inverse ball screw and submersed motor
Švestka, Jiří ; Himr, Daniel (referee) ; Pochylý, František (advisor)
This thesis is focused on study of piston pump with ball screw and submersed motor. Theoretic part is about study using pump and ball screw. Equations for description of pump, motor and ball screw are in computation part. And in last part is construction of pump and valve. Valve is computed in CFD.
Using the infrared camera in the measuring technique.
Švestka, Jiří ; Klusáček, Stanislav (referee) ; Bejček, Ludvík (advisor)
The topic of this bachelor thesis is a noncontact measurement of thermal characteristics of insulating materials used in the construction. This is a list of selected companies and an overview of basic types of of insulating materials on the market. The aim is to measure and then to compare the thermal properties of selected materials
