Nerovnoměrná tepelná modifikace bukových vlysů

The introduction of the thesis consists of a review of literature about thermal modification of wood. More precisely, the author presents history, possible ways of treatments and the impacts on the treated material from the point of view of chemical, physical and mechanical changes. The introduction of the thesis describes the main subject of the research European Beech (Fagus sylvatica L.). The practical part of the work focuses on a contact high-temperature treatment of the samples. It is intended to achieve in the cross-section uneven modification. The treated samples were chemically analyzed. Finally, the results are evaluated and discussed.

The introduction of the bachelor thesis describes general outcomes of current research focused on granaries. More precisely, author presents knowledge about period of time when granaries were often built, the main reasons why granaries were built, the used materials, and he also summarizes granaries' constructions. In the practical part, author examines the construction of the granary. The granary has been elaborately studied and measured. Author describes the current condition and creates drawing documentation. The main aim is to analyze the amount of damage of the truss construction. Moreover, graphical representation of damage of the truss construction was created. The thesis concluded with the possibilities of treatment and conservation of the truss structure, the roof structure, and the building as a whole.
