Acoustic emission methods in steel bridge degradation identification and monitoring
Šorm, Filip
Acoustic emission methods proved to be an effective diagnostic tool in many industrial sectors. The potential of this method in the field of steel bridge diagnostics is explored in this article. The goal is to find the most effective use of this method.
Investigation of basic mechanical and fracture-mechanical properties of specimens cut from high pressure gas pipeline – locality L177/2 after a twentyone months exposition to moist and dry hydrogen at the pressure 3 MPa
Gajdoš, Lubomír ; Šperl, Martin ; Šorm, Filip ; Bejdl, Jan
Investigation of the effect of moist and dry hydrogen pressurized to 3 MPa on mechanical and fracture properties of gas pipeline steel ČSN 13126, tensile specimens, Charpy specimens and CT specimens were kept loaded during the exposition in moist hydrogen, after a 21th months exposition it was found that ductility of tensile specimens and fracture parameters Jin and J0,2 of CT specimens decreased whilst the parameter Jm was slightly increased.
Investigation of basic mechanical and fracture-mechanical properties of specimens cut from high pressure gas pipeline – locality L177/2 after a fourteen months exposition to moist hydrogen at the pressure 3 MPa

Material tests of pipe samples takes from high pressure gas pipeline Sviňomazy-Vřesová (locality L177 / 2), II. stage of part B1 (hydrogen exposure)
Gajdoš, Lubomír ; Šperl, Martin ; Šorm, Filip ; Bejdl, Jan
The main goal of this work is the evaluation of hydrogen effect to material properties of the pipeline steel and its possible transformations.
Mechanical and fracture mechanical analysis of steel segments cut from Družba oil pipelines DN 500 and DN 700
Gajdoš, Lubomír ; Šperl, Martin ; Šorm, Filip ; Bejdl, Jan
Experimental research of mechanical and fracture mechanical properties of the pipe specimens taken from Družba oil pipeline. In addition to basic static tests and fracture toughness tests, the research also included the determination of the kinetic of fatigue crack growth, incl. analysis of critical crack size.
Mechanical and fracture mechanical tests of a special type of steel
Gajdoš, Lubomír ; Šperl, Martin ; Šorm, Filip
Research report on testing of mechanical and fracture mechanical properties of special type of the steel. Between the main results of the research belong fracture toughness in the terms of J integral parameters, constants for crack grows rate in the type of steel used to railway bogies.
Dynamic and static tests of the cotton clothes of dummies used to crash car tests
Šperl, Martin ; Gajdoš, Lubomír ; Šorm, Filip ; Vála, Ondřej
Research report on testing the influences different cotton clothes to material interference during car crash test. The tests were performed in some loading modes for the material composition (dummies skin, cotton, seat belt).
Investigation of fundamental mechanical and fracture mechanical properties of high pressure gas pipeline - location L177 (L177/1 and L177/2)
Gajdoš, Lubomír ; Šperl, Martin ; Šorm, Filip ; Bejdl, Jan
Assesment of mechanical and fracture mechanical properties including the analysis of critical crack dimensions for specific gas pressure and pipelines segments. These magnitudes will be used as a reference properties on the subsequent hydrogen effect investigation to the pipeline steel.
Assessment of gas pipeline reliability based on mechanical and fracture tests of pipe segments\nfrom VTL DN 500 (lane no. 41 and 56) and VTL DN 300 (lane no. 152)
Gajdoš, Lubomír ; Šperl, Martin ; Šorm, Filip
