Legal, Social and Criminogenic Aspects of Alcoholism
ŠVANCÁROVÁ, Hana
This bachelor thesis deals with alcohol dependence, and what problems this dependence has. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to determine the influence of alcohol dependence on the individual's social status and, above all, on what social problems are most often encountered by people dependent on alcohol. Equally important is to find out what the relationship between increased alcohol consumption and crime is, and what crime is most often done under the influence of alcohol. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part, with the help of specialized literature, defines the characteristics of alcoholism. Furthermore, it is important in the theoretical level to describe the legal, social and criminogenic aspects of alcoholism. In the practical part, the work goes in social and criminogenic direction. Alcohol-dependent social problems were identified through questionnaires. Research on alcohol-related crime was carried out through analyzes of statistical documents of the Police of the Czech Republic.
