This diploma thesis deals about the findings of early medieval coins in the southern and western Bohemia, which are used as a source base for understanding the long-distance and regional communications. The basic sources of research of this subject are early medieval coinage findings with regard to the settlement at that time known primarily from archaeological knowledge. Further consideration is given to the passage of proven historical roads and map background, which caught scenery before the industrial revolution. The main goal of this work is to determine how the findings of early medieval coins associated with long-distance communications. Another aim is to capture all the previously known findings of the study area and to attempt a possible reconstruction of the regional communications, which could interconnect settlement areas. The aim of the work is not and cannot be directly detected historic roads in the field, since the work is guided from above ,,from the table" too large area.

Culture and Ideology in the light of the iconography of Czechoslovak paper money of second half of the 20th century

The presented diploma thesis is dedicated to the Czechoslovak paper money is-sued after 1948 until 1989, which is used as a source of historical memory. On paper money is mainly investigated their thematic content, which passed for their development time significant changes and that reflected important needs of the communist regime. The basic source for research this theme is paper money of defined period with taking into account the pre-war paper money because of their comparison. In addition, consideration is given to archival sources, contemporary posters, films, literature, songs, etc. The main target of this work is to determine how paper money reacted to the change of the political system after 1948 and how it was reflected by the users them-selves. It will also be monitored the rise of Soviet influence, sphere of allegorical humor and reflection of artistic community.
Coins of denar's period in Bohemia - analysis of hoards from south-west Bohemia

This work analyses early medieval hoards of coins in south-west Bohemia and their relations eith the regional way from the Starý Plzenec - Velké Hydčice - Netolice - Doudleby. On the base of geographical predispositions, archaeological, historical and numismatical sources are researched points of the way and hoards of coins. This work brings possible explanation of relations of coin's hoards and way, which connected from the 10th (11th) century to the 13th century the main stronghold of south-west Bohemia.
