Court Dance and Festivities in England during the Reign of Elisabeth I.

The diploma thesis is focused on the theme of a dance culture and court festivities at the court of the queen Elisabeth I. The aim is to present information about the degree of our awareness about the noble festivities at the Elizabethan court that is very famous for number of the cultural achievements which are interesting but known only to a certain extent. The object of the thesis is to compare the cultural situation at the English court with the others in the second half of 16th century, describe specifics and effects which occurred in England originally and which were imported there in that era. The thesis will include the phenomenon named "the masques", which constituted a specific form of a court festivity with theatre-like dance performances. We will also cite the queen Elizabeth's fondness in dance and in theatre and her attitude to the dance art and court festivities as a significant element of the English nobility education in the renaissance era.
Vliv antropogenní činnosti na znečištění vybraných vodních nádrží v povodí Jordánu.

The master thesis deals with influence of system of water reservois and farming on suface water quality in catchment Košín stream in the Tabor region. There were investigated effect on suface water quality of several watercourses flowing through farmland with markedly different land cover, farming, size of catchment area and different water reservoirs. The fundamental hydrochemical parameters such as content of nutrient, inorganic and organic carbon and undissolved substances were monitored. The water samples were collected from permanent sampling points during the growing season. The investigated compounds were determined in the laboratory by titration, gravimetry and spectrophotometry. Mean, median, interquartile range were determined within the basic descriptive statistics and the data were statistically processed by nonparametric tests. Results showed particularly significant influence of the littoral vegetation and wide strips of tree vegetation as an effective filter, which prevent pollution of surface water by nutrient runoff. In some cases, the land cover was reflected positive impact of vegetation on reducing contamination of the water above the level specified by legislation, therefore vegetation is great importance in the fight pollution of waterways. From the obtained data it is obvious that influence of anthropogenic pollution on surface water is very important, but appropriate land cover can minimalize this impact.
Present Perfect versus Past Tense with adverbs like just, recently, lately

The bachelor's dissertation focuses on an issue of usage of present perfect and past simple tense with adverbs as "just, recently and lately", which are usually used with present perfect tense. To look into the usage of adverbial "in the past" is another task of the bachelor's dissertation. Grammatik says that adverbial "in the past", is not usual to combine with present perfect tense but with past simple tense. The research is based on British National Corpus database. The main aim of the research is to find out the number of sentences written in present perfect tense or past simple tense in combination with the given adverbials. The other aim is to compare the usage of given tenses with adverbials in specific text types or text domains.
The fibre plant growing in Czech Republic

This bachelor thesis deals with the cultivation of fiber plants in the Czech Republic, which are closely linked to the cultural history of mankind and agriculture. They are widely used in the textile and automotive, construction, food or cosmetics. Their main advantage is absolutely clean and waste-free use. As a result of the reduction of subsidies and import of cheap, mostly Asian, textiles there is a decrease in sown areas and declining production of flax and hemp. Growing these plants in the Czech Republic declined to the point of loss.
