Czech and German advertisements in Budweis daily newspapers, their comparison and analysis

This diploma thesis dealed with the analysis of advertisements, which were published on the pages of newspapers from the end of 19th century until the end of The Second World War. This diploma thesis focused on its analysis, the systematic research was submitted mainly to the German newspaper Budweiser Zeitung, and Czech newspaper Jihočeské listy between years 1873-1945. In particular, period ads was analyzed, which was the subject of a thorough analysis that focused primarily on graphic design, thematic orientation and inner content. The example of advertising was evidenced by different trends that have been manifested in the last decades of the existence of Austria - Hungary, during the war years and during the times of the First and Second Czechoslovak Republics.
Pribram Atom Magazine and its analysis, a quarter century of uranium mining in the Příbram region in the light of newspaper articles and testimony testimonies

This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of Atom magazine, which was published in the second half of the 20th century as a reporter of Uranium mines Příbram. An inherent part of the work is also an evaluation of the current state of research. Furthermore, the readers are introduced to the history of the city of Příbram and to the history of mining, especially the mining of uranium. The main point of this work is a critical analysis of the Atom magazine, which has been for a long time Uran's Mines reporter. Finally, with the help of testimonial testimonies by using Oral history metod, I will try to reconstruct the normal operation of uranium mines. Concurrently and adequately, I compare the selected journal articles with testimony and critically evaluate them.
