Representation of sources of omega-3 fatty acids in the school canteen menu concept and proposing options for improving utility basket indicators

The topic of this diploma thesis is called Representation of sources of omega-3 fatty acids in the school canteen menu concept and proposing options for improving utility basket indicators. The task of the diploma thesis is to find out whether school canteens successfully meet the standard of the consumer basket and nutritional standards for school meals in the fish commodity. The work is divided into two parts. The theoretical part describes topics related to omega-3 fatty acids and their sources, school catering legislation and the last chapter is a consumer basket, which was obtained from scientific and professional publications, which are searched in domestic and foreign databases of scientific and professional literature. The practical part contains the results of filling the consumer basket in fish commodity at schools in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic, which then compares the results with the recommendations of the Decree of the Ministry of Education of the Czech Republic nr. 107/2005. Design and verification of an intervention program aimed on developing the flexibility of leg muscles of football players

The bachelor thesis is focused on the Design and Verification of an Intervention Program aimed on Developing the Flexibility of Leg Muscles of Football Players of the TJ Božetice football club. For purpose of research, players were selected at the age of twelve. As young footballers are neglected, or even skipped, stretching exercises, they may have a variety of muscle injuries or a major shortening of their muscles at a later age. For this reason, the younger students underwent an initial measurement to determine their shortening. The aim of this work was to create and implement a three-month intervention program aimed at lower limb flexibility for football players at the age of twelve, which was conducted twice a week. During the intervention program, a second measurement was performed and a final measurement was taken after the intervention. For the first measurement, we have measured an average value of 27,6 cm for the deep forward bend and an average value of 31,3 cm for the final measurement. In the holistic motor test (Jacík's motor test), the average value was 58,5 points and the average value was 65,9 points. As a result of stretching exercises, we have managed to achieve improvements in both tests and have almost eliminated muscle shortening and improved dexterity, endurance and strength.

Coordination and Work with Volunteers in the Frame of a Long Term Individual Humanitary Help Coordinated by NGO Bodaj

In the first part of this work I wanted to describe the situation in children's homes in the poorest part of Ukraine - Zakarpatie. I sumed up some information about history and about people, living in this country. I tried to find out reasons, which lead to the poorness of this region, and why people who live there, often leave to find work in another coutry. In the third part there can be found information, about voluntering and humanitarian work, about history, some well known humanitarian organizations. In the third, middle part i put the detailed describe of children's home in Vilšany. It presents which children live in this house, who works with them, how does the surroundings of the children's home look like … In the fourth, final part, I wrote about the Bodaj organization, which helps in chidren's homes in this part of Ukraine. I described changes in management this volunteers organization. In the next part I wrote about volunteers coordination in Bodaj. Which changes will be made for better efective work. Amphibians of the Protected landscape area Blaník

The principal aim of this diploma thesis was the mapping of amphibian species inhabiting the Protected Landscape Area Blaník. The field research was carried out during the years 2005 to 2006. The occurrence of following 8 species and 1 synklepton was confirmed: Smooth Newt (Triturus vulgaris), Warty Newt (Triturus cristatus), Alpine Newt (Triturus alpestris), Fired Bellied Toad (Bombina bombina), Common Spadefood (Pelobates fuscus), Common Toad (Bufo bufo), European Tree Frog (Hyla arborea), Grass Frog (Rana temporaria) and Water Frogs (Rana synklepton esculenta). The determination was performed on the basis of morphologic characters and voice expressions. During the field research suitable reproductive habitats of particular species were studied with respect to numbers of specimens found there. Based on presented results, habitats valuable for protection mere marked. The records of particular species were written into maps of the species occurance.
