Solidarity in the social work
ČÍHÁKOVÁ, Tereza
The thesis deals with the concept of solidarity. The theoretical part characterizes the notion of the solidarity, the importance of solidarity in different countries, as well as the importance of solidarity in social policy and political ethics. The brief historical development of solidarity is further described. The penultimate chapter of the theoretical section is devoted to solidarity from the perspective of the Church and the union of solidarity with the person of Jesus Christ. At the conclusion of the theoretical part, the types of solidarity and the summary of the theoretical part are given. The practical part focuses on qualitative research to see how social workers in different areas of social work understand the concept of solidarity. The interview includes three parts. The first part focuses on meaning of the concept of solidarity for social workers. It is further clarified how much solidarity is important in the organisation, where they work. The last part of the interview is focused on expressions of solidarity between co-workers and clients. The conclusion of the theoretical part includes an evaluation of the research, in which there is also a comparison of respondents' responses. At the end of my bachelor's thesis, I present options for social workers on how to work with solidarity and the interconnectedness of solidarity with social work.
Use of sweeteners in soft drinks and their effect on the sensory quality
ČIHÁKOVÁ, Tereza
The subject of this thesis was to evaluate the use of sweeteners in a selected group of soft drinks in terms of influencing sensory quality. Using selected methods of sensory analysis were five kinds of non-alcoholic drinks evaluated - four orange lemonades and one mandarin, which contained different composition of sweeteners. Three out of five samples were suitable for diabetics, because they only contained synthetic alternative sweeteners, one sample contained fructose-glucose syrup and the last sample contained sucrose. Individual samples were assessed by evaluators divided into three groups according to age. First group were evaluators at the age of 11-14, pupils from primary school Kosova Hora, second group - students of University of South Bohemia and the last group were evaluators above 40. The aim of this thesis was to lead to different results in different groups, depending on the attitudes and habits. There were big differences recorded among studied samples. It is interesting that neither group had failed to identify the best sample E, which is only sucrose. The top rated samples were sample A containing aspartame and acesulfame K, and the sample D with fructose-glucose syrup. The worst samples were clearly identified samples B and C, containing three and four kinds of synthetic sweeteners. Last but not least the paper includes a questionnaire for consumers, whose aim was to find out what influences the respondents while buying soft drinks and what is their attitude towards subsitute sweeteners.
Distribution of wild cucumber, Echinocystis lobata Torr. et A. Gray, in chosen rivers in the Czech Republic
ČIHÁKOVÁ, Tereza
The aim of this work was to create an overview of known locations of the invasive lianas Echinocystis lobata (Michx.) Torr. et A. Gray in selected rivers in the Czech Republic with the contribution of my own data from the field survey. The selected flows were the rivers Sázava, Lužnice, Ohře and the stream Mastník. There were 71 places located on these flows and 7 others were found in the surroundings of gardens and cottage area in Kosova Hora. The original location of the species is North America. It extends mainly along watercourses from where it spreads to nearby locations. Štětinec laločnatý is one of the most problematic invasive species in Europe because its vegetation form creates a continuous layer over other species in the lower level and thus prevents the access of light (Dajdok et Kacki, 2009). It is important to monitor its spread and, if possible, adopt measures for its control.
