Ida Kelarová - life and contribution to the musical culture of the gipsy

The thesis describes the life of Ida Kelarova and captures part of her lifelong activity. It is not possible to show all of the important things that mrs. Kelarova hase done, so I will focus on those that I witnessed personally or those that I was part of. It is great honour to weite my work about mrs. Kelarova especially because I had the opportunity to work directly with her. Majority of this paper comes from personal discussions and experiences.
The rise of the piano art in China

This thesis focuses on the emergence, development and characteristics of the piano art in China. Piano art as one of the kind of art have been developed in China for about one century, but its development was very tangled and complicated. The author divides the whole process of the development of the piano art in China into four important phases. It focuses on the period from the first contact of piano art with China until the current period of apparent presperity. The thesis does not exclude the period of the Cultural Revolution, but it handles the political issues only marginally.
Famous names among women composers

This bachelor thesis is dedicated to women with famous last names. There are represented especially three women: Alma Mahler, Clara Schumann and Fanny Mendelssohn. This work is trying to take a closer look at their lives, marriage and point out that they formed their own music. Because of the different situation that women had in 19th and 20th century, they often felt societal obstacles, which kept them from musical development. Despite this fact, they had left a rich legacy and great stories of life.
Preludes by F. Chopin, A. N. Scriabin and C. Debussy - Comparison

The subject of this thesis is to present the cycles of the preludes composed by F. Chopin, A. N. Scriabin and C. Debussy and to compare them with each other. 3 sorts of criteria will be chosen for that: 1) non-musical criteria, 2) music theory criteria and 3) will be researched through the analysis of chosen music pieces from the cycles. Their common features and differences will be summarized at the end of the each chapter.
Changes of Chopin's International piano competition in Warsaw

The aim of this thesis was the representation of history, development and present form of the International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw. Introduction of this work deals with the concept of Chopin tradition and areas that are affected by the composer's creation. The main part is focused on origin of this competition and its founder, companies that hold this event and development from the first year up to the present. Attention is paid to the dates of the individual years, the number of participants, countries from which they arrived, the jury composition and the prices which were awarded. For each year is also given programme of each round, which had to be presented by the competitors. Conclusion of this thesis deals with the Czech track in the competition and detailed results, which were achieved by the Czech pianists. The Annex contains the complete results of all years and the samples of promotional materials from the International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw.
Piano Stylization of Music in romantic Period

My master´s Thesis, called "Piano Stylization of Music in romantic Period", is based on my Interest in Works of Composers of this Period and interpretation´s Problems for Compositions, created in above mentioned Epoch. I devided my master´s Thesis in three basic Chapters. In the first one, I was trying to describe the Romanticism generally as a style period. In the second one, I attempted to sketch its composing, period and stylizacion marks and in the third chapter I was concentrated on specific works of selected composers, which I separated in several smaller chapters according to particular periods which their work come under in. In the conclusion I tried to explain my way of working conception and a summary of finding and objectives, which my weork and effort was leading to.
Main Repertoire for the trio Clarinet, Cello and Piano

My diploma thesis is called Main repertoire for the trio clarinet, cello and piano. The work is devided to three chapters. The first one is called History and present of the trio clarinet, cello and piano. In this chapter are three independent subchapters. The first is about historical development of these instruments. In the seconde is written something about repertoire options for this group and the third one is about tree well-known groups. The seconde chapter is about the main tema and there is written about the most played and well-known compositions for this ensemble. There is usually written something short about life of the composer and then formal analysis of every piece. The main compositions are written in this order: Archduke of Austria and The Trio for clarinet, cello and piano, Johannes Brahms and The trio a minor op. 114, Max Bruch and Eight pieces op. 83, Vincent d´Indy and The trio B flat major op. 29, Anton Eberl and Grand trio op. 36, Michail Ivanovič Glinka and The trio Pathétique, Emil Hartmann and Serenada op. 24, Adalbert Gyrowetz and The Trio op. 38, Robert Kahn and Serenada op. 73 a Alexandr Zemlinsky and The trio d minor op. 3. The last chapter is only about The trio B flat major of Ludwig van Beethoven. In three short subchapters is written something about his life, formal analysis and creation of the composition and analysis of interpretation of two records.
Luboš Sluka: The chamber Composition for Violoncello and Piano with Focus on violoncello Sonata.

Luboš Sluka´s chamber music is the topic of my master thesis. I only focus on compositions for violoncello and piano. I summarize all published compositions. In more details I pay attention to sonata for violoncello and piano, which is the most significant piece in this category. After his brief resume I focus on formal analysis of all of his violoncello compositions and progress of sonata and the attitude on that. I use not only my own point of view but comparison between recordings as well. In the attachment you can find the full list of Sluka´s published compositions at Editio Musica Humana Recordings and a score of the sonata for violoncello and piano.
Personality of Czech Composer František Gregor Emmert with the Focus on his Piano Work

The diploma thesis "Personality of the Czech Composer František Gregor Emmert with the Focus on his Piano Work" deals with the life and artistic attitude of the music composer František Gregor emmert, his artsitic development, compositions and last but not least with the situation on Brno composing scene. His piano work is mentioned too and the complete list of compositions until 2008 is attached.
F. Schubert - "The Trout" piano Quintet and the other Works written for the same Instrumentation

The diploma thesis discusses the Piano Quintet "The Trout" by the Viennese composer Franz Schubert. It includes the circumstance of it?s origin, pieces which inspired the composer to creat this work, but also the pieces which were inspired by this particular one subsequently. It includes formal and interpretive analysis of the work. A special chapter deals with two dramatic pieces that were directly inspired by Schubert?s Piano Quintet in A major. Last but not least, it lists 18 other works of the same instrumentation, created between 1799-2011.
