Design of VA-characteristic meter
Štěpnička, Martin ; Szabó, Zoltán (referee) ; Steinbauer, Miloslav (advisor)
The thesis describes the design of a measuring device volt-ampere characteristics of PN junction suitable for measuring characteristics of stabilizing diodes. Describes the basic principle of PN junction and related events. Part of the text discusses how to minimize the adverse parasitic effects. Furthermore, the proposal deals with an AC adapter suitable for this device. With that analyzes marginally rectifiers, stabilizers and filters. The following is a description of the device for measurement, principle of communication with the computer and the method of data processing. The annex contains schematic design, printed circuit boards and part list.
Controlling ang checking system
Bláha, Jan ; Roubal, Zdeněk (referee) ; Szabó, Zoltán (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on the design, fabrication and testing module 4 independent switching appliances. Switching can be controlled automatically according to the ambient temperature and time, or manually. The equipment includes the measurement of power. In the conclusion, the evaluation and lessons learned or problems in the implementation of module.
Digitally controlled filter
Rez, Jan ; Szabó, Zoltán (referee) ; Friedl, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with design of a functional prototype universal digitally controlled analog frequency filter 2th order. Part of the design is the selection of appropriate filter topology diagram and selection of an integrated circuit. Universal filter will contain lowpass, highpass, bandpass and notch filter. The filter is tuned in cutoff frequency from 100 Hz to 15 kHz. The bachelor's thesis focuses on the circuit analysis of selected concrete structure of universal filter and possibilities of digital control filters. The practical part of this thesis includes PCB design, control software for filter and graphical representation of measured results.
Laboratory power source
Lízner, Václav ; Marcoň, Petr (referee) ; Szabó, Zoltán (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the complete design and realization of the laboratory DC power source. There is designed a power supply with adjustable output voltage from 0 to 30V and with adjustable current limiter up to 3A. All output values are analog controlled, the microcontroller is used only for the voltage and current measuring. This data is shown on the LCD display. The thesis includes also participation of the DC sources, what is focused on the basic wiring of the switching DC sources.
GPS tracker with GSM communication using SMS protokol
Remeš, Adam ; Drexler, Petr (referee) ; Szabó, Zoltán (advisor)
The objective of this semestal thesis is the design and implement moduls device for GPS location and temperature with GSM transmission, which is used to determine the position of the object at the request of users using SMS messages. It is designed for watch vehicle and foremost locations already stolen vehicle. Part of this work is the design of the main module GPS location, source module and a module lcd for displaying the data.
Metal detector for industrial use
Stehno, Rostislav ; Friedl, Martin (referee) ; Szabó, Zoltán (advisor)
The goal of this project is explore and study the ways of metal detecting and create a metal detector for industrial use. During a project development, the device size and user easy interface were the basic requirement. As a visual device was chosen LCD touch display, which is very important as a user-friendly interface. For math calculations and right function of device will be implemented microcontroller from Atmel corporation. As a data storage will be used a flash memory with 16MB of size. When the device were inventing, a lot of methods were studied and the impulse detect method were chosen which is the most perspective way of metal detecting. Device will communicate with PC trough a USB port. The device will have a battery which allows device to run for a few hours. The prototype of PCB were developed. Few mistakes has been discovered, while the device were constructed, but they were solved successfully.
Digitally controlled power supply
Stupka, Dominik ; Drexler, Petr (referee) ; Szabó, Zoltán (advisor)
This document describes design of the laboratory power supply with digital control. Power control consists from a control section which handles communication between the modules and the power section.Into the power section is integrated switching and linear regulator. The designed power supply contains two such modules. To control are used microcontrollers from Atmel. Source parameters are 2 x 30 V / 0 – 3 A. During the construction we have to emphasis on the accuracy of regulation the output values and the modularity of the solution.
Contactless Wiegand Effect DC and AC current sensor
Štefánek, Martin ; Szabó, Zoltán (referee) ; Kubásek, Radek (advisor)
The paper describes the types of magnetic sensors, which are used for measuring magnetic fields. The document is divided into chapters, which describe Wiegandův sensor and its implementation into the magnetic sensor in this document is designed magnetic circuit design for this sensor. The work evaluates the progress in the design of contactless ammeter that measures AC and DC current via Wiegand effect. Experimental verification principle and its function for DC current is described in the penultimate chapter.
Temperature and humidity measuring station
Vilímek, Tomáš ; Marcoň, Petr (referee) ; Szabó, Zoltán (advisor)
Bachelor thesis entitled „Temperature and humidity measuring station“ is focused on design of a device, that will be able to measure, save and display information about temperature and humidity from connected sensors. There is described used components such as LCD display, sensors, RTC, data saving, communication with personal computer and description of alternative sensors. Practical part contains implementation of components, scheme, manual for the device and decription of device firmware.
Research into the emited broadband signals effect to the radio systems
Jagoš, Ľubomír ; Drexler, Petr (referee) ; Szabó, Zoltán (advisor)
This work is research into the emited broadband signals effect to the radio systems. It treats about ways of radiation of broadband signals with high level to near space, antennas and transmission matching.
