ECG and PPG derived respiration estimation
Chmela, Radek ; Smital, Lukáš (referee) ; Králík, Martin (advisor)
This work deals with the estimation of the respiratory curve from ECG and PPG signals. The first part deals with the description and monitoring of electrical activity of the heart, physiology and methodology of respiratory sensing and photoplethysmography. The second part deals with methods of extracting respiratory cycle information from ECG and PPG recordings. The third part deals with the algorithmic implementation and evaluation of individual procedures for estimating the breath curve from both of the above-mentioned signals on records from the web PhysioNet. In the last part, the algorithms are compared and evaluated.
Stresss and fatique detection in complex driver's data
Šimoňáková, Sabína ; Králík, Martin (referee) ; Mézl, Martin (advisor)
Main aim of our thesis is fatigue and stress detection from biological signals of a driver. Introduction contains information on published methods of detection and thoroughly informs readers about theoretical background necessary for our thesis. In the practical application we have firstly worked with a database of measured rides and subsequently chose their most relevant sections. Extraction and selection of features followed afterward. Five different classification models for tiredness and stress detection were used in the thesis and prediction was based on actual data. Lastly, the final section compares the best model of our thesis with the already published results.
Multifunctional building
Králík, Martin ; Spáčilová, Jitka (referee) ; Spáčil, Miroslav (advisor)
The subject of the diploma thesis is the elaboration of project documentation for the construction of a multifunctional house. The building is located on a building plot of parcel number 2176/15 in the cadastral area of Stará Boleslav. It is located in the northeastern part of the cadastral area. The terrain of the building plot is flat and currently the plot is covered with grass. It is a built-up area in which the development of apartment buildings predominates. The designed multifunctional house is spread over four floors. On the first floor there are three surgeries with a preparation room, facilities for staff and clients and communication areas of the building. The first floor is designed as barrier-free. There are six apartments on the second and third floors. On the fourth floor are designed two apartments and a walking terrace. The underground part consists of technical facilities, storage space and 13 parking spaces.
Analysis of accelerometric signals during gait cycle
Nemčeková, Petra ; Sekora, Jiří (referee) ; Králík, Martin (advisor)
Kinematic analysis of gait is one of the most important examination of lower limbs. One of the possibilities of this analysis is measuring by accelerometer. This thesis is focusing on construction of a functional device, which measures an angle of ankle, hip and knee joint during gait and developing application, which enables measurement and displays measured data. Results from device were compared with kinematic norm used in ortopedy.
Measuring and Data Logging of Air Parameters
Kaziměrčíková, Lada ; Králík, Martin (referee) ; Sekora, Jiří (advisor)
The goal of the Bachelor thesis is to design a device for measuring humidity, temperature and CO2 concentration with implemented data logging. The Raspberry Pi computer was chosen as the control unit for the design of the device with three sensors, DHT11 for measuring temperature and humidity, NDIR MH-Z16 for measuring the CO2 concentration and NOVA PM SDS011 for detection PM10 and PM2,5 particles. The measured data from the sensors are stored in the MySQL database and are displayed on the web using PHP scripts and active Javascript elements. The Bachelor thesis also focuses on the analysis of air quality and the substances contained in the air with presented research for sensors used for measuring the concentration of these substances.
Software tool for education of the computed tomography
Doležalová, Anna ; Králík, Martin (referee) ; Mézl, Martin (advisor)
This semestral thesis is focusing on the process of displaying X-ray scanning and it’s simulation. There is described X-ray radiation and it’s possible interactions and changes. It’s also focused on the origin and detection of this radiation. In the practical part of the thesis, there is simulated the origin and attenuation of spectrum while comming through material. Then simulation software is created using MATLAB program. The simulation software allows to simulate basic processes of classical systems: X-ray tube, the interaction of radiation with the patient and subsequent detection. After selecting parametrs of simulation, the effects of the selected parametrs and X-ray spectrum will be displayed. The thesis also describes and subsequently simulates how image reconstruction of computed tomography works.
Biometry of iris
Váca, Ondřej ; Králík, Martin (referee) ; Mézl, Martin (advisor)
The Bachelor´s thesis introduces readers to the general issue of biometric systems, which are devices that enable automated recognition of people based on their appearance or behavior. In the next part, the thesis deals in detail with iris biometry. Using the RapsBerry PI device, a system for acquiring iris images was designed. The last part of the thesis deals with the testing of the built equipment in order to ensure the best properties of the acquired pictures.
Sleep stage classification using polysomnographic records
Martinková, Tereza ; Ronzhina, Marina (referee) ; Králík, Martin (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the description of polysomnography, electroencephalography, electrooculography and electromyography. The work also discusses the issue of individual sleep phases. Followed by theorethical description of the parameters, which are later calculated from the signals. Based on these parameters are the individual phases classified.
Sleep quality assessment
Benáček, Petr ; Králík, Martin (referee) ; Ronzhina, Marina (advisor)
The topic of this bachelor thesis is an automatic sleep quality assessment using artificial neural network. To assess the quality of sleep were used the movement and heart rate data measured by Apple Watch smartwatch. From these data, statistical variables were calculated. Then were they used as an input to the neural networks. The goal was to automatically identify sleep and wakefulness. In this case, the sensitivity was 89 % and the specificity was 70 %. These values are comparable with other studies. Furthermore, the data were also divided into categories W (wakefulness), NON REM and REM. Parameters evaluating sleep quality, such as TST, % REM or sleep latency, were derived from the output of the neural networks created.
Evaluation of physical fields in a landscape locality
Jílek, Michael ; Králík, Martin (referee) ; Smital, Lukáš (advisor)
The thesis is focused on gathering of theoretical backgrounds for geomagnetic measurements, measurement of electromagnetic and radiometric quantities in a natural locality, and subsequent evaluation of the obtained results from the point of view of their interrelations and in the context of hygienic regulations. All the theoretical backgrounds of each field are assigned to the measurement methodology and appropriate measuring technique, selected according to information from available sources. Appropriate instruments, landscape location, measurements were made, the results were evaluated and interpreted. The result is graphical output in the QGIS geographic information system.
