Ionexchange membranes for fuel cells
Chladil, Ladislav ; Špičák, Petr (referee) ; Barath, Peter (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis engages in the analysis of ionexchange polymer electrolytes for low-temperature fuel cell’s H2-O2 application. Object of this work was made a several version of function ionexchange membranes with electrode material by MEA technique. The theoretical part is deal of problems of the fuel cell and their application. Experimental part describes the process of preparation of electrode materials, which were doped by platinum catalyst in variable subsidy. Electrode substances were deposited on various ionexchange membranes. This function elements were measured in experimental fuel cell Quintech and measured results was evaluated.
Sequential Placement of Surface Mounted Devides
Štětina, Hynek ; Chladil, Ladislav (referee) ; Starý, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design and realization of SMD pick and place machine. Significant part of thesis was focused on computer vision and its application for SMD devices centering. Beside the mechanical construction the control software capable of use in production environment have been realized.
Optical determination of the state of charge of vanadium flow battery cells
Šacl, Vojtěch ; Chladil, Ladislav (referee) ; Novák, Vítězslav (advisor)
The investigated subject for this diploma thesis is getting know properties of the vanadium redox battery (VRB), especially electrolyte. Specialization is applied to the state of charge of this cell and its measurements using the optical methods. Upon different state of charge is changed oxidation number of vanadium and resultant color of the electrolyte. Using spectrofotometry method that characteristic property is undergone measurement. The basic thing was learning to handle a measurement system. The first practical measurement was executed on example foils. Upon measurement of vanadium cell there was obtained the values of absorbation, which they were used for determination of state of charge.
Vanadium cells as a source and storage of energy
Langr, Pavel ; Chladil, Ladislav (referee) ; Novák, Vítězslav (advisor)
This semestral thesis deals with problematics of redox flow batteries, especially vanadium batteries. The first part is focused on describing basic terms, describes redox batteries and explains chemical processes. It also deals with vanadium batteries properties and construction. The second part of the thesis describes diagnostic method of spectroscopy, which seems to be very perspective for examining attributes of vanadium redax batteries.
Photoimpedace spectroscopy characterization of optical and electrical properties of the photovoltaic cells
Mocharová, Zuzana ; Chladil, Ladislav (referee) ; Novák, Vítězslav (advisor)
Diploma thesis mainly describes the theoretical knowledge of the topic photoimpedance spectroscopy characterization of optical and electrical properties of the photovoltaic cells, which contains development and princip of cells working, material properties of photovoltaic cells, explanation of electromagnetic waves, spectrophotometry and impedance spectroscopy, followed by a discription of the measuring device and used measuring methods. The experimental section for each measurement method describes the steps of setting the program, then the tables with measured values are involeved in some parts and a part of each method are summary graphs of measured values with subsequent evaluation.
Polyvinyl alcohol based membranes for polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells
Benčik, Ondřej ; Chladil, Ladislav (referee) ; Novák, Vítězslav (advisor)
Fuelcells are perspective alternative source of power. Currently used polymer electrolyte membrane. They have good qualities, but they are expensive. This is the reason, why we looking for alternative. This work deal with research qualities polymer electrolyte membrane based on Polyvinylalcohol. This polymer elecrolyte membrane asassembly to MEA structure and research qualities. This qualities based on electrical and non electrical value.
The influence of zinc ion on possitive elektrode of Ni-Zn accumulators
Karásek, Stanislav ; Novák, Vítězslav (referee) ; Chladil, Ladislav (advisor)
This thesis deals with the establishment of zinc ions at the positive electrode of nickel-zinc batteries. The aim of the study was to measure the impedance characteristics of the positive electrode in various states of charge and observing the effect of ZnO on the changes of impedance spectra. The theoretical part is focused on nickel hydroxide as a construction material for positive electrode and its behavior during cycling in the electrolyte. The experimental part describes in detail the manufacture of the electrode system and the preparation of electrolytes with different degrees of saturation with zinc oxide. The cells were cycled and measured using impedance spectroscopy. The measured impedance curves were simulated with equivalent circuits for a better understanding of the ongoing processes.
Influence of carbon on possitive electrode of Ni-Cd accumulators
Janečka, Marek ; Dvořák, Petr (referee) ; Chladil, Ladislav (advisor)
Master’s thesis is deals with the effect of carbon additives on the positive electrode in the NiCd batteries. It examines whether the positive electrode material enrichment of carbon additives to achieve improved internal parameters of conductivity and better contact with the electrode materials in a discharged. Galvanostatic cycling and electro-chemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) are used for evaluation of graphite aditives.
MnOx based positeve electrode for PEMFC
Šmídek, Miroslav ; Chladil, Ladislav (referee) ; Novák, Vítězslav (advisor)
Construed bachelor work features into problems hydrogen fuel articles and survey on low-temperature fuell elements with polymeric electrolyte (PEMFC). Basic sight work is study feature catalyzers on base MnOx on real fuel cell type PEMFC. Exit are then measured characteristic this way creation fuel cell.
Optimalisation of coposite materials for civil engineering
Kazda, Tomáš ; Chladil, Ladislav (referee) ; Novák, Vítězslav (advisor)
This work is focused on optimalisation of coposite materials for civil engineering. In the theoretical part of the project is introduction of the composite materials and materials which are used for their production. There are also concerned their properties and possible application areas. In conclusion of theoretical part this project is a summary of the possible use of composite materials. The practical part compares the characteristics of the different types of composites made in terms of conductivity and the rate of corrosion.
