Social and Clinical Pharmacy Department Pharmaceutical Faculty in Hradec Králové The Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic Theme: Pharmacy Practice in the Prostějov Region during the Health Care Development Process after the 1989 Objective: Survey of the history of pharmacies and pharmacists in the Prostějov Region after the 1989 during the health care development process. Methods: Excerption of the availability literature, processing the regional newspapers that were obtained from the Town library in Prostějov and Town archive in Prostějov, the questionnaires, the materials of the district corporation of the pharmacists and interviews with the local pharmacy keepers. Results: Before 1989 in the Prostějov Region there were 12 pharmacies, 6 in the region and 6 in the city of Prostějov. After the 1989 many new pharmacies were established. Some pharmacies have established the OOVL (a small pharmacy by their "mother pharmacy"), their expansion have begun after the 1998. In the city of Prostějov we can find the pharmacies in the supermarkets too. Some historical pharmacies and some new have disappeared because of their competition. In...

Social and Clinical Pharmacy Department Pharmaceutical Fakulty in Hradec Králové The Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic Subject of my thesis: Historical development of the pharmaceutical work in the hospital Na Františku in Prague. Aim: To describe the history of the pharmacy and its activities from the start until today. Methods: Elaborating historical documents from the National Archive in Prague, the Czech Pharmaceutical Museum in Kuks, the Prague City Museum, the City Library of Prague, interviews with contemporaries and other thesis. Results: The history of the pharmaceutical work in the hospital Na Františku is connected especially with the Hospitaller Order of St. John of God, who came to Prague after the battle of the White Mountain in December 1620. The pharmacy was probably grounded in 1624. Since that time, the pharmacy had been working without a break until 1941 when it was converted into a German military hospital. It was in 1945 when the pharmacy was renewed again. In the beginning of 1950 it was nationalized and became a part of a state company Medika. Entry to the history of pharm.industry V. ? Company Remed.

Subject of the thesis: Contribution to the history of the pharmaceutical industry, namely the medicinal products of Remed company; registration of a part of medicinal products collection of the Czech Pharmaceutical Museum in Kuks. Aim: Search and study of archival and other documents to learn and map the history of Remed company, including elaboration of a summary of medicinal products manufactured by the said company from its establishment in 1919 till nationalization in 1946. Registration and filing of a part of medicinal products collection of the Czech Pharmaceutical Museum. Methods: Processing of historical written and material sources from the Czech Pharmaceutical Museum in Kuks, central archives of Zentiva a.s., National Office for the Preservation of Historical Monuments in Prague, journals, and literature. Results: Relatively detailed and extensive description of the history of Remed company, including the documentary photographs of the medicinal products. A table with a summary of both registered and OTC medicinal products of the company, placed on file from the inventory number 4,498 to 4,993, i.e. the overall number of 495 medicinal products. Analysis and design of an application for calculations, offers and deals in destination event management

This thesis focuses on finding of a suitable solution which would provide a informatics support for business processes of Wedding in Prague Inc. which acts here as the client. In the beginning the work explains the concept of destination event management and introduces Wedding in Prague Inc. The aim is to analyze the processes that take place in the company and to find a suitable software solution that is available at the local or the world market. As there is no suitable solution at the market, the client decided to have designed the individual solution. The aim of the next part of the work is to thoroughly analyze the processes for which the client requires the informatics support, to create process models using the Unified Modeling Language and then design the individual solution. As next the object-oriented design is made. This contains the design of graphical user interface and the creation of the conceptual schema of the database that supports the application. In the end, the author suggests the development to be made in iterations for which he defines its content. The business process analysis as well as the individual solution design is made for the purposes of Wedding in Prague Inc.

Analysis and design of an application supporting destination event management

The aim of this thesis is to find an optimal informatics support for selected processes in the company Wedding in Prague Inc. For this purpose this thesis contains an analysis and a design of selected processes of the company and a definition of company requirements. According to this determine whether a suitable application on a market exists or not. Because no suitable application was found this thesis also contains a design a database, functionality and a component layout of user interface. This thesis includes definition of a destination event management, an analysis of the current state of the company followed by a definition of requirements for the application. Based on this requirements determine whether a suitable application exists on the market. Because no suitable application was found it was necessary to analyze and design the company processes selected for an informatics support. Finally, the application is analyzed and designed together with a design of subsequent iterations of the application development. Contribution of this thesis is to analyze and design an informatics support for the company Wedding in Prague Inc.
